Internationally recognized animal trainer Melissa Millett will show you how to train your dog, cat or bird; you will learn how to teach them the skills they need to be an animal actor or just build on your relationship and have fun!
Melissa travels and performs with the Ultimutts Stunt Dog Show, recently travelling across Canada on a media tour with Ripley's Believe It or Not to promote to promote the appearance of Ultimutts' Superstar Bella, the Tightrope Terrier. In 2015, the Ultimutts added a skateboard/scooter riding cat to their team, who not only travels stress-free with 8 dogs, but performs at fairs and festivals in extreme environments. Melissa has been featured on Good Morning America, Animal Planet, and Family Channel.
The science of animal training is consistent with all species. Teaching a cat to ride a scooter, pigs to skateboard, and horses to load trailers are all tricks using the science of Learning Theory. As an animal trainer, Melissa has trained many different species, including Dogs, Cats, Foxes, Lemurs, African Pied Crows, Horses, Skunks, Chickens and Pigs!
Melissa will provide two days of hands-on instruction - these workshops will benefit the beginner to the advanced trainer.
